I have a uClinux box built around a Motorola ColdFire CPU, which works well
in all circumstances. I can telnet to it from a linux machine, but I can't
telnet from Windows XP. Note that there is no firewall on my box, and no
hosts deny in the etc config files.
When I try, I get "connection refused".
The same happens for the boa web server. I can reach the homepage prom a
linux machine, but not from a PC running Windows XP.
What could be the cause? Something in my uClinux configuration, or is there
something wrong in WinXP?

Please help me!

Please provide information:

1. Is the Win XP box connected to the Linux box by a network cable? If not,
this would greatly reduce the chance of logging on.

2. Is TCP/IP installed in the Windows box? The absence of this would also
greatly reduce the likelihood of a logon.

2. Can you ping the linux box from the Windows box? If not, check to make
sure both are on the same subnet.

3. Etc..

In other words, do the ususal sanity checks.
