I get to the "make test" part of installing openldap 2.1.22 and I'm getting
the "waiting 5 seconds for slapd to start" message and then the "ldap_bind:
Can't contact LDAP server" error.

I've tried searching through the openldap mailing list archives without much
success. One post alluded to ldap not being able to find the BerkeleyDB lib
files and suggested adding their location to /etc/ld.so.conf which I did but
I'm still having no luck.

Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, Pentium 4 and Red Hat 9. Thanks.

Clayton
